Arash & quasar is one of the weirdest projects we've ever received & we like that. They recently appeared on make italo great again & tatalo. This EP which is actually a mini album & it will be their last under this name and we can say that it's a masterstroke ! Italo, synth pop & folk music all with Tatar sauce ! If you want to wake up a dance floor, this is the right record. Absolute bangers.

"Described by their label Mellah as "one of the weirdest projects we've ever received", Akash & Quasar are a veritably unique Italo-Arab-disco moniker, fusing the of the sonic fruits of the Middle-Eastern bazaar with those of the Mediterranean beachside shindig. Following up former releases on Make Italo Great Again and Tatalo, this EP - actually a mini-album - is allegedly the pair's last under the name. Its seven tracks are hypnotic, soul-quelling, fast-attacked-FM-plucking calls to prayer, bringing their chosen wealth of styles under a hazy, gated-snared Italo aegis. The highlight for us has to be the remix of Kola Beldy's 'Song Of Fisherman'." Juno records
