DJ tsygan is a Parisian maestro of music, a proud member of the prestigious Skylax crew. His talent first shone bright under the enigmatic alias Clap42, and he garnered well-deserved attention for his remarkable collaborations with the elusive and exclusive label, Community Center. Having graced our stage countless times, DJ tsygan fine-tuned his sonic wizardry, skillfully weaving together elements from the hallowed halls of Italo to the vibrant streets of Chicago. We'd dare say he's graduated with honors from our sonic academy! The result? The mesmerizing "Purple Dreams," a symphony of sound crafted with the precision of a master goldsmith, a track that even the legendary Franckie Knuckles would have embraced without hesitation. And then there's "Oh no," with its sultry Latin vibes, and the brilliant "Back in Europe," a tune that conjures memories of the iconic Jacno. It's crystal clear that DJ tsygan has reached a state of sonic maturity that's truly remarkable. The titles themselves are nothing short of splendid, and they're complemented by two top-tier remixes. One, courtesy of Apollon Telefax (formerly of the illustrious Arash & Quasar group - who also had their moment in the Skylax spotlight via the Mellah sub-label), accentuates the Italo side of "Purple Dreams." And let's not forget the magnificent touch of Antoni Maiovvi (be sure to keep an eye out for his upcoming release on Cosmic Club) on "Oh no." It's nothing short of a musical masterpiece, a true masterstroke.
DJ tsygan est un producteur parisien, membre de l'équipe Skylax. Il s'est fait remarquer sous son alias Clap42, ainsi que pour ses collaborations sur les sorties du label ultra-confidentiel Community Center. Après avoir joué d'innombrables fois pour notre équipe, il a affiné son approche sonore en incorporant de plus en plus d'éléments old school, de l'Italo à Chicago (nous dirons qu'il a fait ses classes avec nous !), et le résultat est là. "Purple Dreams" est le fruit de son travail en tant que joaillier du son, une piste que feu Franckie Knuckles n'aurait certainement pas reniée. "Oh no" avec son atmosphère latine et le brillant "Back in Europe" qui évoque Jacno, nous pouvons dire qu'il a atteint la maturité. Ses titres sont splendides, et ils sont complétés par deux remixes haut de gamme, l'un signé Apollon Telefax (ancien membre du groupe Arash & Quasar - également signé sur Skylax via la sous-étiquette Mellah) qui accentue le côté italo de "Purple Dreams", tout comme celui du grand Antoni Maiovvi (à surveiller pour sa prochaine sortie sur Cosmic Club) sur "Oh no". Un coup de maître.
